Video game ROM image from a Nintendo 64 game. It contains an exact copy of the data from an N64 game cartridge - playable on a PC using N64 emulation software.

Nintendo 64 game ROMs also use the .z64 extension.

Mupen64 is a n64 emulator desgined to be multi-OS. Mupen64 was developped on/for Linux originally, but the emulator has already been succesfully ported on Windows and MacOSX for example. Actually the program can be easily ported on all OS supported by the SDL library.

It is free software.

File extension MCC entry has not yet been fully verified by jj54.com team. It was added in the past to our library and appeared to be accurate.

Bleem! 1.0, definitely the best PSX Emulator for the PC, was released 15 May 1999.

The full version can be downloaded from the Bleem! website, if you already have an original "key disc". If not then a "No-Time-Limit" Demo is also available to get a feel of the product!

Some people reported problems using Bleem! so keep the following in mind:

• Upgrade to the latest Microsoft DirectX 6 drivers (version 6.1 of better). Especially the 3D Card D3D drivers are important.
• Remove unneeded background applications/tasks as Bleem! eats up a lot of resources.
• Before starting Bleem! remove any CD from the CD-ROM. Just insert the PSX game CD when Bleem! asks for it!

iNES

iNES is a program that emulates Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and Famicom videogame consoles on your computer. It plays NES games on PCs, PocketPCs, Macs, Unix boxes, etc. The idea to write a NES emulator originated from Alex Krasivsky who found some Famicom programming information on the Net and wrote the initial code. At some point, Alex lost interest in the project, while I eventually rewrote the code, made it closely mimic the quirks of the original hardware, and expanded it to support many different cartridge types and hardware add-ons. At the time of iNES release in 1996, there was only one other NES emulator, Pasofami, written by a Japanese author and really difficult to use. iNES became the first NES emulator usable by a non-expert, and also the first emulator to use the .NES cartridge file format.
