Babylon is a language translation program. Recent versions of Babylon install a Web browser search toolbar that is designed to make web translating easy. The toolbar makes it convenient for Web surfers who translate words frequently. For some computer users, however, this search toolbar is annoying. And the most frustrating thing is, there is no uninstall option in control panel’s add and remove babylon search toolbar, which makes it almost impossible to be removed for some non-expert computer users.
Method 1: Remove the babylon software from your computer.
- Click start button to open control panel.
- Click add and remove programmes
- Find babylon and click remove

- Click start button, all programmes,
- Find Babylon programme
- Choose uninstall it from the system
Method 2: Delete the programme through registry editing
- Click Start button, and then run button
- Type Regedit in the box and press enter
- Locate the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\About URLs\Tabs
- Change the entry that points to babylon search, to the one you desire (google, bing, or whatever).
