Get Rid of Syntax Error

Syntax error, also called  script error, is caused by incorrect code that displays an error message or results in a Web page that does not load correctly. Although syntax error may seems  very difficult to be understand, it is actually simple to be settled. In most of the cases, a syntax error can be solved by altering the browser settings.

For Internet Explorer (IE), the solution is:

  1. Open Internet explorer on your desktop
  2. Go to upper tool bar, click “Tools”  and select “Internet Options.” This will display the Internet Options window.
  3. Go to the “Advanced” tab and scroll down to the “Browsing” section.
  4. Remove the check from the box for “Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer),” “Disable script debugging (Other)” and “Display a notification about every script error.”
  5. Click the “Apply” button to save the changes. Click the “OK” button to close the Internet Options window.
  6. Close and restart the Internet Explorer browser for the changes you made to take effect.

For Firefox, the solution is:

  • Open Mozilla firefox from the desktop icon.
  • Type “about:config” into the address bar and press the “Enter” key. Type “dom.max_script_run_time” into the Filter text box and press the “Enter” key.
  • Double-click “dom.max_script_run_time” to display the Enter Integer Value dialog box.
  • Input a value of “10″ or “15″ into the text box and click the “OK” button to save the change.
  • Close and then restart the Firefox browser for the change to take effect.

Additional suggestion: If altering the script setting does not solve the syntax error, there may be more serious problem. It is suggested that you download a registry cleaner in your computer, install it and do a thorough scan of your system to remove the registry errors. It will make sure that your browser is not infected or blocked by corrupted registry.

Some Print Errors And The Solutions

When you use a printer to print files or webpages, you may get below errors:

“res://ieframe.dll/preview.js”

“cannot find print spooler”

“Spooler SubSystem App has encountered a problem and needs to close”

Printer problems can be really annoying when any work is urgently to be done through papers. Print errors, unlike other errors, appear seldomly and look quite unfamiliar to most people. Many of the users may have no idea how to fix it. But there are some suggestions to try when you have a print error.

Suggestion 1: Start the print spooler service

  1. Click start button on desktop
In run box or search column,
    Type services
    Choose local services
(or go to control panel>administrative tool>services)
  2. Scroll down and click on Printer Spooler
  3. Make sure its set to automatic
  4. Click Start
  5. Restart computer.

Suggestion 2: Download and update your printer driver

This can either be done by downloading the driver from the printer manufacturer’s official website, or installing a driver updating tool to automatically do this for you. Always remember to choose your operating system and correct printer model number when you do a manual download, otherwise more serious problems will be caused. If you choose to use a driver updating tool, you will have nothing to worry. It will recognize your system and your printer model number and find the right driver for you.

Suggestion 3: Re-register all dlls

Print errors can be caused by malfunction of dlls. Dlls contain a lot of data that decides how a printer works. If these dlls are not registered or corrupted, the printer will work miserably and start to give errors. To solve the issue, we will have to re-register all dlls in C:\windows\system32 folder. To do this manually is really time costing when there are so many dlls in the system. It is suggested that you get a registry fixer to help you. It has dll register function which can register thousands of dlls in just a few seconds.
